Job Description

As a Retail Loss Prevention Specialist (also known as Asset Protection Detective), you will play a vital role in safeguarding our assets by preventing theft and fraud. This position requires close collaboration with store personnel to identify and investigate possible threats to our organization's assets, ensuring a secure shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse CCTV footage to identify suspicious activities.
• Conduct thorough investigations for reported incidents and losses.
• Provide expert advice to store management on loss prevention strategies.
• Participate in security audits and risk assessments.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws and regulations regarding theft and fraud.
• Conduct onsite risk assessments and implement necessary changes.
• Work collaboratively with team members to foster a secure environment.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Degree in Criminal Justice or Security Management preferred

Experience

• Experience with investigations preferred.

Certifications

Languages

• English: Fluent
