Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team in Mackay. You'll work closely with patients to develop tailored therapy plans, aiming to enhance their daily living skills and overall quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Deliver client-centred care through innovative and evidence-based practices.
• Conduct home evaluations to recommend necessary modifications.
• Support clients in setting and achieving their therapeutic goals.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to case discussions.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior staff and students.
• Manage a caseload effectively while maintaining high standards of care.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a clinical setting

• Rehabilitation Strategies

Certifications

• Registered Occupational Therapist (ROT)
• Mental Health First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience with Geriatric Patients: Skills in providing therapy for elderly patients with chronic conditions.
