Job Description

As a Clipper, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a clipper vessel, ensuring navigation and managing the crew. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of maritime operations and a passion for the ocean.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-voyage inspections of the vessel to ensure seaworthiness.
• Implement safety protocols and emergency procedures as required.
• Assist in loading and unloading of cargo while ensuring all safety measures are followed.
• Document and report any incidents or irregularities during operations.
• Collaborate with logistics teams to optimize route planning.
• Participate in crew training sessions and drills.
• Perform inventory management of supplies and equipment on board.

Advantageous

• Experience in diesel engine maintenance: Hands-on experience with maintaining maritime diesel engines.
• Seamanship skills: Proficient in seamanship and knot tying.
