Job Description

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team in Canberra. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our systems and data against cyber threats. You will manage security measures, conduct risk assessments, and develop strategies to enhance our cybersecurity posture.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and manage cybersecurity risks within the organization.
• Develop strategies to reduce vulnerabilities and enhance security measures.
• Create educational material for cybersecurity awareness training.
• Monitor internet-based threats and assess potential risks.
• Coordinate communication during a security incident.
• Regularly update security software and systems.
• Liaise with law enforcement and regulatory bodies in case of an incident.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Cybersecurity is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in information security

Advantageous

• Certifications in Ethical Hacking: Preferably Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or similar qualifications.
