Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Explosives Worker to join our team in the mining industry. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining drilling equipment, loading explosives, and ensuring the safety of all blasting operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage blasting schedules and coordinate with site operations.
• Conduct risk assessments for blasting activities.
• Ensure explosives are stored correctly and safely.
• Participate in safety drills and emergency response training.
• Engage with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.
• Evaluate and mitigate potential blasting-related hazards.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Advanced Certificate in Blasting Technology is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role within the mining sector.

• Blasting Software Proficiency

Certifications

• Certified Blaster License

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
