Job Description

Join our team as an Extraction Worker where you will be responsible for the safe extraction and transportation of coal. Working with heavy machinery, you’ll ensure our operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operation of excavating and drilling machinery.
• Conduct pre-operation safety checks and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Assist in training new workers on proper machinery operation and safety standards.
• Engage in teamwork to ensure all operational goals are met.
• Maintain a clean and organized work site to promote safety and efficiency.
• Review and comply with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Participate in safety drills and training sessions regularly.
• Monitor coal quality and adjust extraction techniques accordingly.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate in Mining Operations or relevant field
• First Aid Certificate

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in coal extraction or similar field

Technical Skills

• GPS Navigation
• Mining Software Proficiency

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Communication

Certifications

• Advanced First Aid Certificate
• White Card (Construction Induction)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Environmental Regulations: Knowledge of and compliance with environmental regulations is preferred.
• Diverse Machinery Operation: Experience operating various types of heavy machinery in the coal mining sector.
