Job Description

As a Geoscientist, you will be responsible for studying fossilized remains and the geological context in which they are found. Collaborating with a team of dedicated researchers, you will contribute to understanding ancient ecosystems and environmental changes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scientific research on invertebrate fossils.
• Participate in fieldwork expeditions to collect fossil specimens.
• Prepare and evaluate fossil specimens using advanced imaging techniques.
• Contribute to the development of new methodologies for paleontological research.
• Supervise and mentor junior researchers and interns.
• Collaborate with institutions to further the research in paleontology.
• Communicate research findings through scientific publications and presentations.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations during fieldwork.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in paleontology, geology, biology, or ecology
• Master's degree or PhD is preferred

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in paleontology or related field
