Job Description

We are seeking a Brownfield Redevelopment Specialist and Site Manager who will be responsible for managing the implementation of the Brownfields Program. This role includes conducting site assessments, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and coordinating remediation activities.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee site rehabilitation and redevelopment projects from inception to completion.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop appropriate remedial strategies.
  • Prepare technical reports and regulatory submissions.
  • Collaborate with clients, regulators, and other stakeholders to achieve project goals.
  • Manage project budgets, ensuring financial accountability.
  • Facilitate public consultations and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Ensure all activities comply with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
  • Provide expert advice on environmental policies and practices.
  • Conduct training sessions for team members on health and safety procedures.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of current environmental legislation.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering or related field
  • Master’s degree in Environmental Management or relevant field is preferred
Experience
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in environmental management focusing on brownfields
