Machine Feeders and Offbearers

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Machine Feeder and Offbearer to work in our thriving construction sector. You will play a significant role in preparing concrete slabs, focusing on precision and quality, while collaborating with other trades to deliver outstanding results for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Pour, spread, and level concrete using various tools.
• Apply protective coatings and sealants to finished surfaces.
• Work in collaboration with carpenters and other trades.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations.
• Monitor concrete curing processes to achieve optimal finishes.
• Document work and report to the Site Supervisor.
• Train and mentor junior workers when necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Concreting or related certifications preferred
• White Card (Construction Induction Card)

Experience

• 1-3 years’ experience in concrete work.

Technical Skills

• Machine Operation
• Safety Compliance

Soft Skills

• Effective Communication
• Problem-Solving

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Ability to work flexible hours.: Willingness to adapt to changing work schedules and urgent project timelines.
• Knowledge of concrete finishing techniques.: Experience with decorative finishes will be considered an advantage.
