Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatric Anesthesiologist to join our team. The successful candidate will administer anesthesia to infants, children, and adolescents during surgical procedures, maintaining their safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe anesthesia for various pediatric surgical cases.
• Assess pre-operative patients to determine anesthesia needs.
• Work closely with surgeons and nurses to ensure quality care.
• Utilize electronic medical records to document patient information.
• Participate in departmental meetings and case discussions.

Requirements

Education

• Medical degree from a recognized institution
• Completion of subspecialty training in Pediatric Anesthesiology

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in pediatric anesthesiology preferred

Certifications

• Current registration with the Australian Medical Board
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
