Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Natural Resource Manager who is not only skilled but also passionate about conservation and sustainability. You will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing resource management plans aimed at conserving our natural assets while ensuring their sustainable use. You will be collaborating closely with government bodies and local communities, ensuring our efforts align with both regulatory frameworks and local needs.

Responsibilities

  • Implement data collection methods to assess resource conditions.
  • Analyze complex datasets to inform management decisions.
  • Promote environmental stewardship among local community members.
  • Implement innovative technologies for resource monitoring.
  • Review and recommend improvements to existing resource management practices.
  • Develop funding proposals to support conservation projects.
  • Utilize GIS tools for mapping and analysis of natural resources.
  • Prepare documentation for grant applications and funding opportunities.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management or related field
  • Additional qualifications in project management are preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in leading natural resource management projects
