Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to support our engineering team in Hobart. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing mechanical systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. You will work closely with engineers and other technicians to troubleshoot issues, conduct repairs, and implement upgrades. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, attention to detail, and a passion for mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed inspections of mechanical systems.
• Perform necessary repairs and adjustments on equipment.
• Work closely with engineering teams for project implementation.
• Document maintenance activities accurately.
• Help develop and implement safety procedures.
• Train colleagues on best practices in maintaining mechanical systems.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss project updates.
• Assist in the preparation of technical reports.
• Ensure timely completion of all assigned tasks.
• Maintain a clean and efficient workspace.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in mechanical systems maintenance
