Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Communications Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching students with speech and language difficulties, focusing on empowering them through effective communication strategies and support.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and identify students' strengths and areas for improvement in communication skills.
  • Create engaging lesson plans and learning activities tailored to students' needs.
  • Facilitate a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • Conduct assessments and provide diagnostic reports on student progress.
  • Engage with parents and caregivers to foster their involvement in students' speech development.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology or Education
  • Additional qualifications in Special Education preferred
Experience
  • Experience with children and diverse communities is highly regarded
