Job Description

As an Etcher and Engraver, you'll be responsible for the intricate detailing and marking of our shipping vessels. This essential role involves managing tools and techniques crucial for ensuring that every ship complies with necessary regulations while maintaining our high standards of quality. Responsibilities

• Carry out detailed engravings on vessels to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee the maintenance and calibration of engraving machines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on project timelines.
• Monitor engraving processes to ensure high quality and timely completion.
• Provide training sessions for junior engravers on safety and best practices.
• Track and report on project progress and any issues affecting timelines.
• Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on industry standards.
• Maintain accurate records of all engravings and inspections.
• Assist with the evaluation and procurement of new engraving technology.
• Promote a culture of safety and quality within the team.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate IV in Maritime Operations or equivalent

Experience

• 5+ years of practical experience in a maritime or logistics environment.

Certifications

• Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
