Job Description

As a Drilling and Boring Machine Tool Setter, you will operate and maintain drilling machines and equipment used in manufacturing. You will ensure the precision and quality of holes in metal products, working closely with the production team to meet deadlines and standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and configure drilling machines for operations.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on all machinery.
• Collaborate with engineers to enhance production processes.
• Identify and implement improvements to drilling techniques.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards for safety and quality.
• Contribute to team meetings and share insights on production efficiency.
• Assist in training new staff on drilling machinery operation.
• Keep up-to-date records of production data and machinery performance.
• Follow protocols for handling hazardous materials safely.
• Adhere to company policies regarding quality assurance.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade)
• Trade qualification as a Drill Presser.
• OHS White Card.

Experience

• Experience with CNC drilling machines preferred.

Technical Skills

• Experience with CNC drilling machines
• Forklift license
