Job Description

As a Groomer at Quality Pet Care Services, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the health and appearance of pets. You will work with various breeds, providing grooming services tailored to each pet's unique needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform bathing, clipping, and styling for various breeds.
• Provide excellent customer service and education to pet owners.
• Keep grooming tools and equipment in good condition.
• Recognise and report any health issues with pets to management.
• Assist in training new staff members in grooming techniques.
• Participate in team meetings to improve service quality.
• Ensure compliance with animal welfare regulations.
• Handle pets with care and patience to minimise stress.
• Manage appointments and schedules efficiently.
• Promote additional grooming services based on pet needs.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Pet Grooming or equivalent
• Current First Aid and CPR Certification

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year experience in pet grooming

• Grooming Techniques

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with cat grooming: Hands-on experience grooming various cat breeds.
• Bilingual abilities: Ability to communicate in multiple languages is a plus.
