Job Description

A Maritime Guard is essential for safeguarding the vessels and port facilities. You will be accountable for conducting security checks, monitoring access points, and ensuring compliance with maritime security protocols.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and security of vessels during docking and undocking.
• Conduct safety inspections prior to vessel embarkation.
• Coordinate with port authorities for safety protocols.
• Monitor CCTV feeds and report unusual activities.
• Implement security measures during high-risk situations.
• Train to handle security equipment like metal detectors.
• Respond to and coordinate during security breaches.
• Liaise with internal teams for effective communication.
• Promote safety awareness among crew and cargo handlers.
• Assist with logistical planning for security operations.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Security License required

Experience

• Previous experience in maritime security or a related field is preferred
