Mental Health Counselor

Job Description

We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor to provide comprehensive mental health services to clients. In this role, you’ll conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and lead individual and group therapy sessions to support their mental health journeys.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and monitor clients' progress throughout treatment.
• Offer resources and referrals to clients for additional support.
• Facilitate workshops and support groups as needed.
• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
• Engage with clients in a culturally sensitive manner.
• Actively participate in team meetings and case discussions.
• Utilize telehealth platforms for remote counseling when required.
• Contribute to clinic policy development and procedural improvements.
• Assist in training and mentoring new staff and interns.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling
• Specialized certifications in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or Dialectical Behavior Therapy are preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience working with diverse client populations
