Job Description

We are seeking passionate instructors for Adult Basic Education, Adult Secondary Education, and English as a Second Language programs. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing effective lesson plans while assessing and monitoring student progress.

Responsibilities

• Participate in team meetings to enhance teaching strategies.
• Coordinate with external organisations to provide additional resources for students.
• Maintain strong communication with parents regarding student progress.
• Use assessment data to inform teaching practices and strategies.
• Create a welcoming classroom that fosters student curiosity and engagement.
• Develop professional relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Monitor and adjust teaching strategies based on student feedback.
• Promote lifelong learning through various educational initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Master's Degree in Education or Literacy Instruction is preferred
• Teaching license is required.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience teaching literacy skills

Certifications

• Current Working with Children Check
• Literacy Specialist Certification is advantageous.

Languages
