Job Description

The Pediatric Surgeon will perform surgical procedures on children facing various medical challenges. This role will involve working closely with pediatricians and other specialists to develop comprehensive treatment plans while ensuring post-operative care and recovery.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine surgical needs.
  • Perform surgical interventions while adhering to strict safety protocols.
  • Develop and implement post-operative care plans.
  • Engage in team meetings, discussing patient progress and treatment strategies.
  • Foster relationships with families to support emotional and informational needs.

  • Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives within the surgical department.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctor of Medicine from an accredited institution
  • Specialization in Pediatric Surgery
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years in pediatric surgical roles
