Job Description

We are on the lookout for a qualified X-Ray Operator to join our dedicated healthcare team in Melbourne. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with X-Ray equipment and a thorough understanding of safety protocols. In this role, you will be responsible for performing X-Ray scans, capturing diagnostic images, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe environment for both patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Administer X-Ray examinations and ensure high diagnostic quality.
• Communicate effectively with patients, addressing their concerns.
• Perform routine checks on equipment functionality.
• Support radiologists in interpreting imaging results.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality assurance processes.
• Engage in continuous learning to enhance imaging skills.
• Document and report any incidents or breaches of protocol.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate IV in Medical Radiography

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a clinical setting.

Technical Skills

• X-Ray Equipment Operation

• Patient Care
