Construction Manager

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Directly manage construction teams and subcontractors to achieve project milestones.
• Evaluate project performance and implement improvements as necessary.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and compliance.
• Assist in resolving disputes and issues that arise during construction.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction with project outcomes.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior staff and team members.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• MBA with a focus on Construction Management is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of progressive experience in the construction industry

Technical Skills

• Scheduling Software (e.g. Primavera, MS Project)
• Construction Codes and Regulations

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Conflict Resolution

Certifications

• Certified Construction Manager (CCM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience with sustainable building practices: Knowledge of eco-friendly construction techniques and sustainability guidelines.
