Neon Technician

Job Description

As a Neon Technician, you will design, install, and maintain neon signage for various clients. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Produce neon signs using appropriate fabrication techniques.
• Provide excellent customer service while working on-site.
• Conduct routine inspections of neon signage to preemptively fix potential problems.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in neon design and technology.
• Ensure all work aligns with company quality standards and procedures.
• Work collaboratively with the design team to bring concepts to life.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and challenges.
• Assist in maintaining an adequate inventory of supplies.
• Coordinate with other trades during installations as needed.
• Provide insights for improving installation processes and techniques.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician
• Certificate III in Signage
• Certificate IV in Electrical - Instrumentation

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in neon sign fabrication or installation.

Technical Skills

• Neon bending techniques
• Safety standards knowledge

Soft Skills

• Interpersonal skills
• Adaptability

Certifications

• First Aid Certification
• Working at Heights Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
