Job Description

As a Shoe Machine Operator and Tender, your primary role will be to operate and maintain lacing machines that lace wire ropes and harnesses according to engineering specifications. You will work closely with the production team to meet production schedules while ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate lacing machines according to specifications.
• Monitor machine operations for efficiency and quality output.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure finished products meet requirements.
• Document production metrics for reporting and analysis.
• Provide technical support for equipment troubleshooting as needed.
• Assist with machine maintenance and repairs to enhance production efficiency.
• Aid in the design of solutions for process improvements.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals and strategies.

Advantageous

• Prior experience with lacing machinery: Hands-on knowledge of operating lacing machines for harness production.
