Job Description

As a Wind Up Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and machinery across various industries, including manufacturing and construction. Your work will involve winding up mechanisms to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate winding machinery and ensure proper adjustments.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers on equipment improvements.
• Assist with the design of new processes to enhance machinery efficiency.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and request new orders.
• Monitor machinery for abnormalities and report findings.
• Train new hires on equipment use and safety protocols.
• Support recycling teams with machinery needs.
• Evaluate equipment performance and recommend updates.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed during operation.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical degree or relevant certification preferred

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in a relevant field

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
• Experience with CNC machines

Soft Skills

• Team collaboration
• Time management

Certifications

• CPR and First Aid Certification
• Forklift License (preferred)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience with robotic systems: Understanding of robotics in manufacturing applications.
