Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Aviation Survival Technician who will ensure the safety of passengers onboard by managing survival equipment. This role involves performing routine inspections, emergency responses and training passengers in safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine checks and maintenance of survival equipment before each flight.
  • Train crew members in the use of safety devices and emergency protocols.
  • Respond to emergencies effectively and ensure passenger safety during incidents.
  • Keep track of inventory and status of survival gear, ensuring availability.
  • Conduct safety drills and prepare reports on safety drills and inspections.
  • Collaborate closely with pilots and crew to ensure rapid response in emergencies.
  • Communicate effectively with team members regarding safety procedures and equipment usage.

Requirements

Education
  • Completion of an approved Aviation Survival Technician training program
  • Commercial pilot’s license (preferred)
Experience
  • Proven experience in managing and maintaining survival equipment in an aviation context.
