Job Description

The Reed Cleaner is responsible for maintaining and cleaning reeds used in musical instruments. This role requires working in a clean and organised manner to ensure the optimal performance of the reeds. You will play a key role in supporting musicians and ensuring instruments are in prime condition.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in all equipment used for reed maintenance.
• Conducting thorough assessments of reed materials for defects.
• Providing timely feedback to management on inventory levels.
• Training new recruits on effective reed cleaning techniques.
• Participating in workshops to enhance cleaning skills and knowledge.
• Documenting procedures for future reference.
• Collaborating closely with the Aquatic Plant Manager to ensure best practices.
• Promoting sustainability within the reed maintenance program.
• Utilising resources effectively to reduce waste during the cleaning process.
• Fostering positive relationships with musicians and stakeholders.
