Gas Pumping Station Helper

Job Description

As a Gas Pumping Station Helper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our gas pumping stations. You will assist in routine maintenance tasks, monitor equipment performance, and work collaboratively with team members to optimize station operations.

Responsibilities

• Execute maintenance schedules and tasks as instructed by senior staff.
• Participate in the evaluation of operational processes.
• Help ensure all safety equipment is functional and available.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting of mechanical issues.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all safety protocols.
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
• Assist in coordinating deliveries and distribution of supplies.
• Provide support in other operational tasks as required.
• Work collaboratively with various teams to achieve operational goals.
• Report directly to the Gas Pumping Station Manager with updates and concerns.

Requirements

Education

• Completion of relevant vocational training is preferred
• Certifications in safety standards are a plus

Experience

• Familiarity with gas systems or previous utility work is advantageous.

• Hydraulic systems knowledge
