Job Description

We are looking for a qualified Clinical Psychologist with a passion for mental health to join our team in Canberra. The successful candidate will provide therapeutic services, conduct assessments, and support clients in their mental health journeys. You'll work in a collaborative environment focused on improving the well-being of individuals in our community.

Responsibilities

  • Administer psychological tests and interpret results.
  • Conduct individual and family therapy sessions.
  • Create treatment plans based on client assessments.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Facilitate workshops on mental health awareness.
  • Evaluate and adapt therapeutic techniques to meet client needs.
  • Guide clients on coping strategies and self-care.
  • Document treatment and service delivery in compliance with legal requirements.
  • Participate in community outreach and education programs.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of psychological research and innovations.

Requirements

Education
  • Postgraduate training in Clinical Psychology
  • Endorsement in Clinical Psychology is preferred.
Experience
  • Experience with a range of therapeutic approaches including CBT and DBT.
