Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Cairns. In this role, you will provide advanced nursing care, assess patient needs, and develop treatment plans. Your expertise will help improve patient outcomes and support our medical team.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and interpret patients' health status through interviews and physical exams.
  • Provide primary care services, including chronic disease management and preventative health.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care.
  • Document and maintain patient records in compliance with legal and ethical requirements.
  • Collect feedback from patients to enhance service delivery.
  • Implement health promotion strategies to improve community health outcomes.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Nursing
  • Postgraduate qualification in Advanced Practice Nursing preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in clinical settings
