Job Description

As a Calf Skinner at our Brisbane facility, your primary responsibility will be to efficiently and safely prepare calf skins for processing. A thorough understanding of proper skinning techniques and animal handling practices is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently skin calves for further processing.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of calf skins.
• Adhere to strict hygiene and safety protocols.
• Inspect and grade calf skins for quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards.
• Follow company policies and procedures diligently.
• Assist with additional tasks as directed by supervisors.
• Participate in regular safety training and workshops.

Advantageous

• Experience in Skinning Other Animals: Experience in skinning other livestock such as lambs or pigs is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Tanning Processes: Familiarity with leather processing and tanning techniques.
