Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Coverer responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various roofing materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and the ability to work well in a team environment. Experience in the roofing industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute precise installation of roofing systems according to specifications.
• Conduct thorough inspections for proper water drainage and sealing.
• Collate and report daily progress on job status to the project manager.
• Engage in proactive safety measures to prevent accidents.
• Train and mentor new staff on procedures and safety practices.
• Adapt to various weather conditions when working outdoors.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on multi-trade projects.
• Maintain compliance with building codes and manufacturer specifications.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience using scaffolding and other equipment preferred

Experience

• Preferred experience in roofing or construction-related roles.
