Job Description

As the Railroad Construction Director, you will oversee the planning and execution of rail construction projects, ensuring all phases are completed safely and efficiently. You will work closely with engineers, contractors, and government officials to drive project goals and timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the planning, design, and execution of rail infrastructure projects.
  • Develop strategies to achieve project goals, timelines, and budgets.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Foster relationships with external stakeholders for smooth project execution.
  • Lead project meetings to align objectives and share progress updates.
  • Ensure the effective allocation of resources throughout the project.
  • Drive initiatives for continuous improvement in project delivery processes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
  • Facilitate training and development opportunities for team members.
  • Implement effective communication strategies with all stakeholders.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Master's degree in Construction Management is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a management or leadership role
