Hot Box Operator

Job Description

As a Hot Box Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining hot boxes, essential units used to keep asphalt warm during transportation. This role plays a vital part in ensuring that asphalt remains at the required temperature to meet project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Utilise hot boxes effectively to ensure asphalt is kept at optimum temperatures for transport.
• Conduct thorough inspections of equipment to guarantee operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate logs of operations and report issues immediately.
• Implement safety measures to create a safe working environment.
• Participate in training and development programs as needed.

Requirements

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Relevant industry certifications are a plus

Experience

• Previous experience in the asphalt or construction industry is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
• Forklift operation skills

Soft Skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical fitness

Languages

• English: Fluent
