Siding Installer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Siding Installer to join our dynamic team in Sydney. The successful candidate will be asked to install and repair sidings for both residential and commercial projects while using specialized tools and adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Cut, shape, and install siding materials according to project specifications.
• Inspect finished projects to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
• Document project progress and report issues to the Site Manager.
• Assist in training new team members on siding installation techniques.
• Implement sustainable practices in material usage.
• Participate in safety meetings and contribute to workplace safety.
• Actively seek ways to improve Efficiency and reduce waste.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in siding installation preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in siding installation and repair

Technical Skills

• Siding Installation
• Tool Operation
• Safety Practices

Soft Skills

• Problem Solving
• Dependability

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in commercial building projects: Prior experience with larger scale commercial siding installations.
• Certification in safety practices: Holding certifications such as WHS (Work Health and Safety) is advantageous.
