Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Seam Hammerer to join our production team. The Seam Hammerer will be responsible for performing metalworking operations on sheet metal and extrusions using various hammers, ensuring quality and adherence to customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform metalworking operations to create reliable seams for welding.
• Ensure accuracy in the interpretation of technical drawings.
• Collaborate closely with welders and metal fabricators.
• Assist in the assembly and fitting of metal components.
• Utilize hand and power tools effectively for various tasks.
• Perform all duties while wearing appropriate safety gear.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for production processes.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or similar

Experience

• 2-3 years of relevant experience in metalworking

Technical Skills

• Welding Techniques
• Machine Maintenance
• CNC Machine Operation

Soft Skills

• Time Management
• Attention to Detail

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• CNC Programming Experience: Experience with CNC programming is a plus.
• Welding Certification: Any relevant welding certifications will strengthen your application.
