Teaching Assistant

Job Description

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting classroom activities, assisting teachers, and helping students achieve their academic potential. You will work closely with educators to foster a positive learning environment and facilitate effective learning strategies.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of lessons by preparing resources.
• Monitor student engagement and participation during lessons.
• Assist in creating a positive, encouraging classroom environment.
• Help students develop study skills and organisational methods.
• Provide feedback to teachers regarding student performance.
• Engage in continuous professional development and training.
• Support the social and emotional development of students.
• Assist in the coordination of classroom activities and events.
• Maintain open communication with educators and parents.
• Contribute to a positive school culture and community.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in early childhood education is a plus

Experience

• Prior experience working in an educational setting preferred

Certifications

• Basic Life Support Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
