DataStage Developer

Job Description

As a DataStage Developer, you will play a vital role in our data management strategy. Your main focus will be on crafting efficient ETL solutions and collaborating extensively with project managers and data analysts to achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Create functional and technical design documentation.
• Implement data quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Work closely with data analysts to leverage their insights and improve data workflows.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and ensure timely delivery of data solutions.
• Assist in training junior developers and sharing best practices within the team.
• Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance our ETL capabilities.
• Support ad-hoc data requests from business units as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related field
• Master's degree a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in DataStage and ETL development

Technical Skills

• ETL Best Practices

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
