Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to manage our financial transactions while maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will contribute to our organisation's financial health by ensuring that all transactions are recorded and reported effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and reports.
  • Assist with financial audits and the implementation of recommendations.
  • Process payroll and ensure employee compensation is accurate and timely.
  • Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Manage financial discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
  • Support the finance team in financial forecasting and budgeting.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and apply them as necessary.
  • Provide support in financial analysis to aid strategic decision-making.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional certification (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper) is advantageous
Experience
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
Technical Skills
  • Accounting Software (e.g., QuickBooks, MYOB)
  • Microsoft Excel

Languages
  • English: Fluent
