Job Description

As a Directional Drill Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining advanced directional drilling equipment. You'll oversee the drilling activities, ensuring compliance with safety protocols while efficiently coordinating with project managers and engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Setup and operate directional drilling equipment according to specifications.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and practices on job sites.
  • Monitor drilling parameters and adjust as necessary for optimal performance.
  • Conduct regular equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Liaise with team members to ensure effective project execution.
  • Document drilling operations, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
  • Assist in the training and supervision of junior operators.
  • Participate in safety meetings and contribute to a safe work environment.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant certifications in construction or drilling operations preferred
Experience
  • Experience with excavation or trenching advantageous
