Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Rebar Fabricator to join our team in Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and assembling rebar as per project specifications, ensuring high-quality standards in production.

Responsibilities

• Interpret technical drawings to establish rebar specifications.
• Utilize tools for cutting and shaping steel bars to meet project needs.
• Ensure quality and safety compliance in all fabrication processes.
• Collaborate with other trades and project staff to ensure timely completion.
• Document fabrication processes and materials utilized for traceability.
• Provide support and mentorship to new fabricators joining the team.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade (Reinforcing)
• White Card (Construction Induction Card)

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in rebar fabrication

Technical Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Welding and Fabrication Techniques
• Safety Compliance

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Teamwork

Advantageous

• Experience with concrete formwork: Familiarity with the principles and practices of concrete formwork is beneficial.
• Experience working on large-scale construction projects: Previous involvement in large construction projects will be an asset.
