Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities of the mining team to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Analyze production data to identify and resolve issues.
• Develop training programs for site workforce on operational safety protocols.
• Ensure compliance with environmental policies, conducting assessments and audits.
• Participate in the development of the mine closure plans and rehabilitation strategies.
• Engage in regular communication with all site stakeholders to ensure transparency and collaboration.
• Standardize operations to enhance efficiency and profitability.
• Perform cost analysis for new mining operations and equipment purchases.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's in Geological Engineering or related discipline
• Postgraduate qualifications are advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a mining role
