Job Description

The Nuclear Monitoring Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, availability, and quality of electrical systems by conducting maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting protective relays and control systems. This position involves collaborating closely with engineering and operations teams to ensure effective system protection.

Responsibilities

  • Design, install and test protection systems and devices for electrical power systems.
  • Conduct fault analysis and coordination studies for protection systems.
  • Develop maintenance plans and ensure their execution.
  • Provide field technical support to operations and maintenance personnel.
  • Facilitate training sessions on system operation and maintenance best practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years in the utilities industry
