We're on the lookout for a motivated Chemical Engineer to join our dedicated team in Cairns. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing chemical processes to improve quality and efficiency. You'll work collaboratively with other engineers and scientists to develop innovative chemical solutions that are both cost-effective and sustainable.

Responsibilities

• Design chemical processes and equipment for production.
• Conduct feasibility studies for new projects and technologies.
• Monitor process performance and implement necessary adjustments.
• Liaise with suppliers and vendors regarding equipment and materials.
• Train and mentor junior engineers and interns in best practices.
• Stay current with industry advancements and research developments.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or similar discipline
• Postgraduate qualification is advantageous

Experience

• 4-7 years of relevant experience in a chemical engineering role

Technical Skills

• Chemical Process Design
• Environmental Regulations Knowledge

Certifications

• Certified Chemical Engineer

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
