Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Structural Engineer to join our expanding team in Mackay. This role involves working closely with architects and other engineers to design safe, efficient, and sustainable structures. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in civil and structural engineering and possess a strong problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze existing structures and recommend modifications or repairs.
  • Prepare bid documents and proposal submissions for prospective projects.
  • Foster a team-oriented atmosphere to enhance collaboration and innovation.
  • Contribute to project management through effective communication and reporting.
  • Offer ideas for efficient project execution and budget management.
  • Facilitate training and professional development sessions for team members.
  • Ensure all project work complies with relevant codes and regulations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Master's degree preferred
Experience
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in structural engineering roles

  • Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
