Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Radiologist to join our dynamic healthcare team in Melbourne. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and interpreting medical images, providing critical insights that impact patient care. You will utilise advanced imaging technologies and work collaboratively with other medical professionals to ensure comprehensive patient assessment and management.

Responsibilities

• Assess and analyse imaging results, providing timely reports to clinicians.
• Engage with patients to explain procedures and alleviate concerns.
• Collaborate on interdisciplinary teams for complex cases.
• Contribute to the development of department protocols and practices.
• Utilise advanced diagnostic imaging tools and techniques.
• Lead educational sessions for staff and students.

Requirements

Education

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent)
• Postgraduate Diploma in Radiology is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of radiology experience preferred

Technical Skills

• Interventional Radiology
• CT and MRI Imaging

• Attention to Detail
• Empathy

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Radiology Quality Management Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
