Job Description

The Parts Salesperson will be responsible for managing inventory, processing orders, and providing exceptional customer service in our busy automotive parts department. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee inventory management to ensure accuracy and availability.
  • Process orders promptly and coordinate with warehouse staff for efficient delivery.
  • Provide technical advice to customers regarding parts compatibility and installation.
  • Utilize inventory management software for tracking and reporting.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Engage in product training sessions to enhance knowledge of new parts.
  • Follow company policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
  • Assist with marketing efforts to promote parts and accessories.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues professionally.
  • Prepare reports on sales metrics and inventory status.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Certification in automotive sales or customer service preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a retail sales environment, preferably automotive
