Job Description

As a Local Delivery Driver, you'll play a pivotal role in our logistics team, responsible for delivering goods to customers across the Sydney area. Your daily tasks will involve operating a delivery vehicle safely, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining accurate records to help streamline operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries.
• Handle delivery scheduling and route planning effectively.
• Keep vehicle clean and organized for optimal performance.
• Adjust routes as needed based on traffic patterns.
• Report any vehicle issues to the management promptly.
• Assist with inventory management when required.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss logistics strategies.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Valid driver's license
• Excellent driving skills

Soft Skills

• Good communication skills
• Organizational and time-management skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience driving a commercial vehicle: Preference for applicants with experience operating light trucks or vans.
