Industrial Machinery Mechanic

Job Description

As an integral part of our maintenance team, the Industrial Machinery Mechanic will handle repairs and routine maintenance of our equipment. We seek someone who possesses both hands-on skills and theoretical knowledge, ensuring that machinery operates at peak performance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair machine malfunctions or breakdowns.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Use hand and power tools for machine repair and maintenance.
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to troubleshoot complex problems.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate logs of repairs and maintenance activities.
• Train fellow employees in the proper use and maintenance of machinery.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement.
• Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery.

Requirements

Education

• Trade qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Additional trade qualifications are a plus

Experience

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in machine repair or maintenance
