Job Description

We are seeking skilled Paving, Surfacing, and Tamping Equipment Operators to join our dynamic construction team. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive experience in operating heavy machinery and ensuring quality paving and surfacing work on various projects.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate paving machinery effectively
• Monitor material usage and assist in managing inventory on-site.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure paving meets specifications.
• Communicate effectively with team members and site management.
• Adhere to company safety protocols and best practices.
• Support other team members in their roles as needed.
• Keep equipment clean and in good working order.
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism on-site.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate IV in Civil Construction

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role preferred.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of paving techniques
• Maintenance skills

Soft Skills

• Effective communication
• Time management

Certifications

• Confined Space Training
• Traffic Control Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• First Aid Certification: Basic First Aid knowledge to enhance safety on-site.
